Each Day

Each day, we are called
To move closer to our hearts
We need not experience perfection,
Rather,
A sincere willingness
To do the hard work.

Each day, we are called to move
Into compassion
If we listen,
We will find ourselves moving and re-moving
A thousand cycles over.
We bring renewal with us
Along each leg of our
Exquisite journeys.

Each day, we are called
Into increasing gratitude
And a deep awareness that everything
Is exactly
Where it should be.
Everything and everyone
Is at the correct stop
Along their own perfect path.

Even when our souls bear witness
To hatred/To fear
To inhumanity/To injustice
To greed.
We are grateful, knowing that
When we choose to stay present
They must all
Eventually
Dissolve into Love.

Each day,
We sit in awe of this lesson,
Asking God to protect and reflect us
As we move further into our hearts
And into the Heart
Of the World.
