what nooooo why!?!?! it was great! it was such a liberating and informative post like for real.
lmao on both of us using the oprah term "va jay jay".
i also wanted to take that comment space to tell you that you've never come off to me as inferior and some other words that you used - i think one was insecure.
i would tell you all the wonderful things you are...but that might be oppressive like u were saying the other day. lol. how about specially fantabulous? thats not oppressive i dont think. :-)
ur totally sweet! and i should've left it up, if only for the hilarious comment u left on it.
but i agree with ur fundamental premise: 'a freed pussy is a blessed pussy'
my pussy must not be all that free yet, to the dismay of both of us!
we're still working on it tho. i actually saved the post and ur comment because a lot of thought went into it and it does mean something to me...it was catharsis
there were just some things i guess i hadn't consulted with my 'va jay jay' first, she was like, 'o hell no u not puttin all my business out on the blog streets without even askin me if i was ready'
shoulda pulled a harriet tubman on her ass tho. as in 'o u gon be free, va jay'
it's not so much that i think i'm actually inferior...but i am familiar with the gesture of minimizing myself for the sake of appearing 'tame,' 'womanly,' 'respectable'...i am familiar with hesitating sometimes in my speech, with not speaking in assertive tones and clearly communicating my needs, as if to state implicitly that they aren't important...and ur right, that's totally not who i am inside...but i'm tryna allow that person who i essentially am on the inside to break through all the layers of conditioning i've received from this crazy society so she-and her glorious va jay! lol-can live freely and without the need to hide her light from people who think it strange for a human woman to live fully empowered
